For BBA(H) & BCA(H) :
Set by the WBUT : Minimum Qualification: XII passed from any board or council
like WBCHSE, CBSE, ICSE etc.
Set by the College : Minimum Percentage of marks in Class X & XII should be
60% or more
Eligibility
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen, having passed/
appeared/ due –to-appear in 2011 at the Higher Secondary
Examination in the General or Vocational Stream of West Bengal
Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent
examination from a recognized University/ Board.
- Candidates applying for admission in BBA(H) should have
English as one of the subjects at the10+2 level.
- Candidates applying for admission in BCA (H) should have
English, Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics/ Computer
application at the 10+2 level.
- Important dates, other requirement and details of admission process will be as per WBUT guidelines.
Procedure
Direct by the college: 70% seats
- A student has to purchase two
prospectus, one to be issued by the WBUT and the other by the
college.
- WBUT Prospectus with Application Form will be available at
WBUT / Individual College / from the Bank in WBUT Building.
- The students should fill up the form available in the WBUT
prospectus with all documents and submit to the
college / WBUT.
- The college may grant provisional admission after verification
of documents including college application form issued by the
college.
- Students are also required to upload the requisite particulars
in the format from the Website of the University using the option
‘DIRECT’ and submit it to WBUT.
- Final admission will be granted after verification of
documents by the University and on getting approval from the
University on this issue.
Through Merit by the University: 30%
seats
- Prospectus with Application Form would be made available from
WBUT, affiliated Colleges and from the Bank in WBUT
Building.
- Students would have to upload from Website stating details of
College and Course.
- WBUT will prepare merit list and allot students to individual
colleges based on students’ preferences.
